‘Destiny’ on PS4 and Xbox 720 playable alien characters teased (Photos)

Bungie may have teased the possibility of playable alien characters in their upcoming PS4 and Xbox 720 title, “Destiny.” According to a report by GameSpot on March 18, a fan asked if the studio would consider controllable non-humans. Bungie responded by teasing that not all aliens in the video game would be evil in addition to saying that they will be revealing more character and customization options in the future. You can check out some screens from the online first-person shooter in the slideshow at the top of this article and the comments from Bungie below (courtesy of GameSpot):

Not all of the aliens in Destiny are evil, just like not all humans are good. We've barely scratched the surface on the character and customization options you’ll have access to in Destiny, but we’re not going to dig in any deeper today.

Bungie is responsible for developing “Destiny.” The company was previously credited with creating the “Halo” franchise for the Xbox brand. The new intellectual property has been confirmed to come out on the PC, PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360. A version for the unannounced Xbox 720 appears likely as well. The PS4 and Xbox 720 systems will be launching at around the same time during this holiday season in North America.
