Amazon has revealed their distribution plans for the multiplayer beta of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Destiny.” According to an update from their website on Oct. 2, the online retailer revealed that they will be distributing access to the play test starting on Oct. 3.
Players who reserve “Destiny” from Amazon will receive an e-mail containing a code within one day of the order. Furthermore, customers who previously pre-ordered the video game will also get the vouchers, which will only be available for a “limited time only” while supplies last.
In addition to the code, players will also need a Playstation Network or Xbox Live accounts in addition to another account from Bungie.net in order to sign up for the multiplayer beta. The multiplayer beta for “Destiny” is expected to begin sometime in early 2014. The play test is available for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The latter three platforms will require an online subscription to Playstation Plus and Xbox Live Gold.
Activision will be releasing “Destiny,” which is being developed by Bungie, for the aforementioned current-generation consoles and next-generation systems in the spring season of next year in North America.
