Wasn't the Rose Parade great this year? So many beautiful and fun floats, so many great marching bands... the New Year's Day tradition of lining the streets of Colorado Boulevard lived up to its promise during today's 124th annual Tournament of Roses Parade.

The Disneyland Resort shared in some of the 2013 New Year festivities with its entrant into the Rose Parade, titled "Destination Cars Land." Replicating Disney California Adventure's new Cars Land in floral form, the float featured completely-organic reconstructions of Flo's V8 Cafe, the Cozy Cone Motel, Radiator Springs Racers, as well as our Cars pals Lightning McQueen, Sally, Guido, and Luigi.

2013 already promises to be a big year from our Southern California Adventure Parks, including the opening of the Legoland Hotel in Carlsbad and the all-new high-intensity coaster "Full Throttle" at Six Flags Magic Mountain. I wish all my fantastic readers a year full of ADVENTURE!
