One of the best parts about Aix-en-Provence is the market! Three days a week Aix is home to a large farmers market. You can find anything and everything at these markets! The local farmers come in and set up shop with the biggest and most colorful vegetables! Local cheese vendors also set up shop which allows you the opportunity to try a good French cheese. If you’d rather shop for clothes, jewelry, souvenirs, etc., no problem they have that too! No matter what you’re looking for, the market will be a hit for everyone!
Aix-en-Provence is an absolutely stunning city for the slower paced tourists. There is neither the hustle and bustle of a big city nor a large amount of tourist attractions.
