Kincer was crowned Miss Kentucky USA 2014 on Sunday following pageant competition at Sacred Heart School in Lexington.
Contestants were judged in the category of swimsuit, evening gown and interview.
The winner of the Miss USA Pageant will represent the United States at the 2014 Miss Universe competition.
Originally from Whitesburg, Ky., Kincer lives in Lexington, according to her Facebook profile. She attends the University of Kentucky and works as a lifeguard.
Her philosophy is, “Train your mind to see the good in every situation,” according to her Twitter profile.
I am “so incredibly honored to be the new Miss Kentucky USA,” she wrote. “Thanks, everyone, for all your support and kind words. It means so much to me.”
If she wins the Miss USA Pageant, she will become the second titleholder from Kentucky to wear the national crown. The first was Miss Kentucky USA 2006 Tara Conner, who finished as fourth runner-up at the Miss Universe Pageant.
The Miss Universe and MIss USA pageants are owned by Donald Trump and NBC Universal. The final nights of pageantry for both pageants are broadcast live on the NBC television network.
