'Despondent' film premiere a success (Photos)

On March 6, 2014, the co-directors of the film "Despondent" shared about their film's premiere. The event was held on March 5 in Washington, DC from 7 to 10:30 p.m. at Uptown Theater.

The premiere of "Despondent" might not have been held in Hollywood, but according to those behind the scenes, as well as in attendance, it was in Hollywood style and a Tinsletown success!

The film's synopsis is an intimate portrayal of one man's journey with moments of action and suspense.

"Despondent" is that of an arthouse action thriller created solely by the two-man team of Joe Falcione and Israel David Groveman. It was shot mostly in the DC area.

"It was great seeing so many friends and family tonight who came out to support our film. Thanks to all the kickstarter folks who helped make this happen, even though many of them were unable to attend.

Israel and I really appreciate the support you've shown. More details will be forthcoming on how to access the digital versions of the film. It was a really great night, and we were very blessed." - Joe Falcione on Facebook

In preparing for the film's premiere, Falcione (in DC) and Groveman (in L.A.) spent several weeks in discussion. Falcione tested the film at the theater and tweaked it for the large screen format.

Through the men's combined efforts, the film's premiere was a success!
