Two days before the SAG awards it was reported that Jennifer Lawrence would not be attending the ceremony on the count of "walking pneumonia."
At the AACTA show, Lawrence was unable to attend as she had come down with pneumonia that had seemingly come about from having the flu. Her "Silver Linings Playbook" co-star, Jacki Weaver, accepted the award for Best Actress on Lawrence's behalf.
"I'm going to receive this on her behalf. Poor Jen is really sick. She really is sick. She has pneumonia," Weaver stated on stage.
However, fans and attendees were shocked to see Lawrence in attendance at the SAG awards tonight looking as stunning as ever.
Wearing a Christian Dior dress and Chopard jewelry, Lawrence posed on the red carpet with her usual sophistication and humor completely intact.
"It's highly contagious," Lawrence told E! news Guiliana Rancic, assuring her that she is doing fine now.
Lawrence commented on her gown by explaining that she is "just whatever, just Diorin' it up!"
Happy to see that Lawrence is feeling better and here is to the best of luck that she wins her category she is nominated in!
