In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria shared her first thoughts on the potential lawsuit between former co-star Nicollette Sheridan and creator Marc Cherry. Unfortunately for people looking for some big-ticket gossip, Longoria didn't really know much of anything about the alleged incident of "violence" in 2008:
"Let me tell you, I live in a cave....I only listen to KIIS FM, that's how I found out about it. I heard about it, seriously, on y'alls show, and I don't know any of the details."
She did go on to explain some of what she remembered from the time:
"I know they did have a thing on set -- I guess it was a couple years ago -- it's so long ago, the actual incident, and I wasn't on set when it happened. Apparently this incident had happened and she felt it was wrong. Something happened on set regarding them doing a scene, something that he was showing her ... honestly, I wish I knew ... during that time I didn't work with her character. I'm trying to get the dirt here on set, but nobody is allowed to talk about it!"
Sheridan's lawsuit is believed to be for $20 million in damages after claiming that Cherry "struck" her across the face during a dispute. ABC has since announced that they investigated the incident at the time and did not discover any wrongdoing.
