As viewers saw, Desiree Hartsock and her fiance Chris Siegfried were at the taping of "The Bachelor: After the Final Rose" last week in Los Angeles. Knowing first-hand how both hard and fun the experience can be, she had words of wisdom for new "Bachelor" couple Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferell, as well as for the newest "Bachelorette" star Andi Dorfman. In an interview with YourTango, posted on Monday, March 17, Des revealed what she told the franchise's latest stars.
Des revealed that she told Juan Pablo and Nikki to get away from it all for a bit.
"The first thing I said to them when I saw them after the taping was to take a vacation! I don't know if they realize the affect of the media, and the best thing they can do is be alone together to start their relationship off on a strong foundation," she said.
As for what she told Andi, she said that she told her to go with her mind in addition to her heart.
"I told her to follow her heart, but to also trust her mind. Too often, we lead with our heart and that can get us hurt, since infatuation will not last...I also told her to just have FUN!" she said.
Perhaps Des drew from her experience with Brooks Forester for her advice to Andi?
Juan Pablo and Nikki certainly seems to have taken Des's advice to heart. The two are currently in the Dominican Republic for a wedding and mini-break. Nikki posted a photo of the two of them in their wedding finery on Instagram.
"Wedding fun in the Dominican Republic with @juanpagalavis and this gorgeous view," she captioned the photo.
