Desiree Hartsock, the former reality TV star, celebrated a bridal shower recently reported People on Monday. The happy news indicates Hartsock is soon to wed fiancé Chris Siegfried, whom she chose last summer on “The Bachelorette” after a devastating blow from Brooks. Bridal shower attendees consisted of friends, old and new, including Daniella McBride, the first castoff of ABC’s latest dating show, "Bachelor in Paradise."

“The Bachelorette” celebration was, “The BEST bridal shower anyone could ask for,” tweeted Desiree Hartsock on August 3, “Thanks to all my gorgeous friends for making it so special!!!” A few of those "gorgeous friends" included McBride, of Sean Lowe’s season, who couldn’t make a connection on “The Bachelor” franchise’s newest production, and former contestants such as Ali Fedotowsky, the sixth “Bachelorette” and Jackie Parr, also from Lowe’s season with Desiree noted People.

Desiree Hartsock’s bridal shower was held at Lombardi House in Hollywood. Desiree, 28, and Chris have settled down in Seattle where a small engagement party of about 40 friends and family was held this past February at DeLille Cellars Winery in Washington. Although a date hasn’t been announced, perhaps a televised wedding is in the works since Hartsock is in California. According to WetPaint in May there has been much speculation on another ABC wedding similar to Sean and Catherine's, although Desiree and Chris Harrison haven’t publicly proclaimed televised wedding bells. However, after the season 18 finale Hartsock declared they “are definitely open to it, especially since everyone followed along on our journey. I think it would be great to share our nuptials and love with Bachelor Nation.”

Desiree Hartsock broke “Bachelorette” traditions on her season, paving the way for Andi Dorfman to break her own rules. A last minute, surprise televised wedding might just be her forte and ABC’s, adding ratings to “Bachelor in Paradise,” which also airs Monday nights.
