Desiree Hartsock is the new "Bachelorette"! Desiree was easily this season's favorite and when Sean Lowe sent her home, fans were stunned. The fun-loving brunette will take the helm on the next season, however, and fans couldn't be happier. On March 5, Reality Steve broke the news, confirming what many people were excited to hear.
"Desiree is your next 'Bachelorette.' She will be announced next Monday during the live ATFR show after the 2-hour finale airs, and she begins filming Sunday night, March 17th," Reality Steve wrote in his report. There have been plenty of complaints that the show doesn't cast "fresh faces," but more people are very happy that Des will get another chance to find love.
Desiree Hartsock was rumored to be the "Bachelorette" after she got eliminated (or, if you read the spoilers, she's been rumored from when she got sent home last fall). Des is already being compared to an all-time fave, Ali Fedotowsky, and her season is expected to be just as good. Hopefully, for Des, her happy ending works out.
Des proved herself to be an all-around great person. She loves being outdoors and it seems like she would try anything once. She was always smiling and laughing -- and while Sean Lowe said that she uses her smile to "hide things," many are hopeful that she will open up when she takes the helm next month.
Desiree Hartsock will start filming "The Bachelorette" in the next few weeks.
