Thursday was Belk Day. The evening began with a presentation of spring fashion tribute to southern style followed by Steve Madden’s spring shoe collection.

The main event was the presentation of capsule collections by Felicia Barth-Aasen, Noelle Stanley & Sean Olson, Nkundwe Kasyanju, Angelia Bacskocky, and Yuyan He.

Felicia Barth-Aasen designs women’s ready to wear under the label Collective26. Her emphasis is on sportswear that is both casual and elegant. Her designs feature asymmetric draping.

Noelle Stanley & Sean Olson, winners of Thursday’s People’s Choice Award, design children’s ready to wear under the label Ambrosia Designs. They design fun clothes in traditional prints and plaids for little people.

Nkundwe Kasyanju designs contemporary women’s wear under the label ENKEE. She titled her collection “Faithful Relapse”. The influenced of Yohji Yamamoto and Junya Wantanabe can be seem in her use of draping.

Angela Bacskocky, Thursday’s winner of the Emerging Designer Award, designs women’s ready to wear under the label Angela Bacskocky. She titled her collection “Puritan Collection”. Angela mixes edgy with traditional to create a look for today’s woman.

Yuyan He designs women’s ready to wear under the label Yuyan He. Her designs incorporate interesting prints, draping and pleats.

The evening ended with a presentation designer Hunter Bell.
