The world of fashion was shocked last Friday when stories began to run that popular fashion designer Rachel Zoe announced that she would be pulling out of the prestigious New York Mercedes Benz Fashion Week she normally participates in. This decision was made only approximately a month before her show was scheduled on Feb. 13th, and many were taken by surprise at this decision. Zoe decided to cancel her show and instead display her newest collection in Los Angeles, where she will be able to maintain family life and appropriate care for her newborn son. The designer felt that she would not have appropriate time to prepare for her show while caring for her child.
