A fashion designer found in the Hudson River occurred Sunday morning. Michele Savoia was reported missing Saturday and his body was just discovered. ABC Local reports Feb. 16 that Savoia was known for designing suits for A-list Hollywood stars, such as Matt Damon and Robert DeNiro. He also made Broadway costumes.

Before the fashion designer was found in the Hudson River, he was last spotted at club "Marquee" Thursday prior to 4 a.m. on the city's West Side. A doorman at the entrance said he saw Savoia arrive, but not exit. By Saturday morning, the designer's driver reported him missing.

Savoia's girlfriend told authorities he was suppose to meet her for Valentine's Day, but he never showed up.

Michele Savoia was not only a talented designer, but he taught fashion at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He also owned a boutique -- "House of Savoia."

Savoia's body was discovered near his boat in which he lived....docked at Chelsea Piers' West Side.

No reports of suspects have been revealed yet in the reports. Investigators will be looking for possible motives if he was actually murdered. It did not say what the cause of death was for this fashion designer found in the Hudson River. Michele Savoia will be missed by his peers and celebrities who depended on his fashion sense.
