Last week, Housing Works' 10th Annual Design on a Dime took place at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea. Design on a Time is an interior design fundraiser that features the creations of over 60 designers such as Laura Bohn Design Associates, Halcyon Design, LLC, Jennifer Flanders, ELLE DECOR by Samuel Amoia, Antonino Buzzetta Design, De la Torre Design Studio, and more. Each of these designers created unique room vignettes using new merchandise donated from some of the leading home brands. Proceeds from the event have gone towards helping homeless and low-income New Yorkers living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. The room vignettes were unveiled at a VIP opening night reception last Wednesday and were then open to the public last Thursday and Friday.
Highlights from the event included a dreamy pink and black living room, a swanky purple room with a neon sign, a pink and purple floral relaxing room, and a serene beach inspired dining room, among many other fabulous room vignettes. Such an impressive design event for a worthy cause!
