LEGO Store Monthly Mini Model Build
On the first Tuesday of each month, the LEGO Stores hold their Monthly Mini Model Build event for children ages 6 to 14. Kids receive and learn how to build a free LEGO mini model themed to match each month. These special LEGO models are not for sale, and children get to keep them.
Mini Build Contest
To enter LEGO Mini Build contest, kids must think of a model subject that represents the month of September and design a model of this subject using between 25 and 40 LEGO pieces.
To submit their entries, children should bring a printed picture of their model to a nearby LEGO Store and fill in an entry form. All entries must be received by close of business on September 30, 2009.
Fun LEGO prizes
The first group of winners selected will win $50 LEGO gift cards. One Grand Prize winner will be chosen from among that pool of winners and be given a complete set of the LEGO Store Monthly Mini Models for 2009, a $150 LEGO gift card, and the honor of seeing his or her mini model design used for the September mini model event in 2010.
