The Arizona Sonora Desert Museum is hosting its first Desert Dessert Night on May 24, 2014. The event provides attendees with the opportunity to try desserts made by local chefs using native Sonoran Desert ingredients. A ticket is required for the event and they are limited, so it is recommended you purchase in advance, which can be done online here.
The Desert Dessert Night will feature desserts from over 15 individual restaurants and chefs from the Tucson Originals. There will also be voting to determine the favorites. Additionally, there will be specialty coffees and beverages to purchase as well as a commemorative mug while supplies last. Other activities at the Desert Dessert Night include special presentations and music.
Tickets for the Desert Dessert Night cost $38 per person or $28 for museum members. The ticket prices will go up to $43 for non-members and $33 for members on May 17, 2014.
