Deschutes fair announces 2014 concerts, Pat Benatar, Josh Turner to perform

Well if living in Central Oregon isn't good enough with all the fantastic outdoor activities, now we can also look forward to some good concerts at this year's Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo. The lineup for the free concert series that will be held at the Bank of the Cascades Center, and brought to you by Big Country RV, includes rocker Pat Benatar, and country artist Josh Turner.

Pat Benatar will be performing with her husband Neil Giraldo on Wednesday, July 30. Benatar's hit songs include, 'Heartbreaker', 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot', and 'Promises in the Dark' among others.

Josh Turner will be performing with special guest Leah Turner on Thursday, July 31. Turners songs include, 'Long Black Train', 'Why Don't We Just Dance', and 'Me and God'.

Also appearing at the fair and rodeo will be country artists the Eli Young Band with Old Dominion, and Theory of a Deadman, an alternative rock band.

If you want to see any of the performers this year, free concert passes will be distributed beginning July 2nd by all participating McDonald’s restaurants in Central Oregon every Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. while supplies last, there is no purchase necessary. You also must pay admission to the fair, which is $12 for adults and $7 for children ages 6-12 and seniors 62 and older.
