Topic: plan your ideal writing getaway
Setup: "If I could just take a month off - away from work and family and responsibilities - I'd rent a cabin in the woods and write my novel."
How many times have you said this, or heard writing friends make similar claims? The time frame and specifics might vary - three weeks by the ocean or a summer in Italy - but the reasoning is the same: if I didn't have to worry about life I could write a book.
Prompt: Plan your ideal writing getaway down to the tiniest detail. Where will you go? For how long? How much will it cost? What will you writing goals be once you arrive? Where will you stay? How will you eat - are you near a grocery store or do you have access to room service? How will you take advantage of your chosen location to inspire and inform your work? Be as detailed and specific as possible, believing that this is a trip you will really take. Share some of the highlights of your plan in the comments section.
