Will Derrick Rose return to the Chicago Bulls in the 2012-13 NBA season? Word is that he might be willing to wait until next season to come back to make sure he is completely healthy. The Huffington Post reported on Feb. 25 that a Derrick Rose dunk caught on video during a recent pregame warm up he is closer to returning than expected.
The dunk took place before the Oklahoma City Thunder whipped the Chicago Bulls this week, and it showed that Rose might be close to returning. He might be the only piece left to the puzzle in helping the Bulls win another NBA title.
Just 10 days before this Derrick Rose dunk video surfaced, the former NBA MVP said he couldn't dunk. Now, he is not only dunking, but delivering a two-hand tomahawk dunk. Sure, he wasn't going full speed and there was no chance for contact, but he leapt into the air and landed on his surgically repaired knee, which is a great sign for Bulls' fans everywhere.
Maybe this is a sign that Rose's knee is feeling better than it was just two weeks ago. Sure, he might be willing to play like this when no one else is defending him, but surely the Bulls wouldn't want him on the court dunking balls if there was still a chance of coming down wrong and ending any chance of his coming back.
Was this Derrick Rose dunk video something that should get Chicago Bulls' fans excited about his return?
