Derrick Rose dunk: Injured NBA star shows off two hand dunk (Video)

Derrick Rose is inching closer and closer to a full recovery from a torn ACL in his left knee. The 2011 NBA MVP showed off with a nice dunk during the pre-game warmup for the Oklahoma City Thunder victory over the Chicaga bulls, according to a Feb. 25 Huffington Post report.

The MVP who said his “leg still isn’t feeling right,” proved that it may more right than not with his surprise two hand dunk. The player recently noted that he will not return to play until he was 110 percent, and has stayed true to his word, but the call of the court was too tempting to avoid during the warmups.

Rose’s Twitter fans marveled at the injured player’s dunk. @Hoopmixtape tweeted, “How does Derrick Rose say he can't dunk like 10 days ago and then does a 2 hand tomahawk with ease in shootaround? Who is his trainer!? Lol,” while @Stackmack was kept on the edge of her seat, tweeting, “This made me feel nervous/excited/happy.”

When it comes to his return timetable, nothing appears to have changed since Rose last indicated he did not have a set date, according to the Inquisitr. “I don’t have a set date … I’m not coming back until I’m 110%. Who knows when that can be? It can be within a couple of weeks. It could be next year. It could be any day. It could be any time. It’s just that I’m not coming back until I’m ready.”

If he keeps dunking like this, fans may believe he is ready.
