Derek Jeter picked up two hits to move up to eighth on the all time hits list on Sunday afternoon as the New York Yankees defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 6-4. The two hits were a pair of singles that enabled Jeter to reach 3,320 career hits and pass Hall of Fame infielder Paul Molitor on the all time hits list.

Jeter now sits 99 hits away from passing Carl Yastrzemski for seventh on the list and 110 hits away from passing the legendary Honus Wagner for 6th place.

Jeter announced earlier this year that this season, his 20th, will be his last.
