Derek J got a good laugh out of Kenya Moore imitating Phaedra Parks in a revealing dress on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." Speaking out Monday, the style guru admits that it was funny but at the same time, "tacky."
"I have to mention the shock the hell out of me moment of the week. Kenya Moore as Phaedra Parks at NeNe’s Shoe Dazzle event. Was that not a mess? I mean I don’t care who you’re imitating, you don’t get a pass to be tacky. It was funny though," Derek J shared in a post show blog Monday.
As seen on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Sunday night, Kenya Moore decided that dressing up like Phaedra, during their cast trip in Anguilla, would be a great way to pay Phaedra back for talking about her character and insinuating that she might be bi-polar. Wearing a netted dress with extra padding, Kenya Moore entered a Shoe Dazzle event acting as if she was Phaedra Parks. In the end, it was all a bit much for most of the women, including NeNe Leakes.
"She done lost it," Leakes told Bravo.
According to Derek J, this season is going to get a lot more interesting in the coming weeks.
"The season is definitely getting more and more interesting by the week, and of course, I know that it gets crazier. Trust me when I say that," he admits. "These women are going for blood."
That said, how is Kenya going to top what she did on last night's episode?
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
