Psychic Derek Acorah held a live séance last night on Sky 1 TV in the UK and claims that he made contact with the spirit of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
While there is a worldwide interest in the paranormal, the séance to try to contact Michael Jackson has been the subject of much criticism by fans, many of whom believe it to be a complete sham, and others who want MJ to remain undisturbed if it is in fact possible to make contact with the spirit world. Acorah said in an interview that it 'would be a privilege to connect' with MJ.
According to Acorah, MJ is 'furious' that he was not buried alongside Marilyn Monroe: "I wished to lie alongside her. I suppose it's of no consequence.' During the show, Acorah said that MJ was spending time with his grandparents, supposedly saying, 'I'm only now starting to adjust to my spiritual life'.
Four Michael Jackson fans were on the show as well and one such fan said: 'I looked into Derek's eyes and it was him.'
