Derby Lite is bringing back roller skating. But instead of just regular roller skating, Derby Lite gives you an all over fitness. Derby Lite was started by Barbara “Queen B” Dolan of Oak Park, Ill. Derby Lite incorporates stretching, conditioning, cardio, and skating drills. Clearly this is going to grow in popularity very quickly.
What does something like this cost? The dues for Derby Lite are $60 per month plus the required gear. (If you do not have Derby Lite in your town then just let them know and they will try to accommodate you.) You will get a tough two-hour workout that will make you feel like a kid again. Of course you should start out slow and stretch before any exercise. This is also a good excuse to buy some pretty cool gold-plated skates. Some suggest skating in fishnets or other apparel. Just think about how much you will burn with all the cardio and movement with Derby Lite.
