The puppy theft took place last Wednesday, March 12, at the Anderson County PAWS facility in the midst of operating hours.

The puppy-nappers are described as two men and two women who were believed to be driving an older, white car with a black hood.

The foursome took off with three mixed breed pups described as a black and white pit bull mix, a black and white American blue tick/heeler mix and a border collie mix.

According to Anderson County PAWS, one of the puppies had already been adopted and the two others had potential adopters lined up.

Anyone recognizes the individuals in the surveillance photos or who has information on the thefts is asked to call the Anderson County Sheriff's Office at 864-260-4400 or Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
