A 38-year-old man was arrested Thursday for allegedly peeping at a woman inside a clothing store in Forsyth County last weekend.

And officials said he has a history of being a peeping tom.

Mr. Randy William Wilson, of Cleveland, was charged with two counts of Peeping Tom in the incident that happened at Belk on Saturday, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the Belk in Lakeland Plaza in Cumming after getting a report of a man peering under the door of the women’s dressing room while a woman was undressing, the sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Doug Rainwater said.

After releasing photos of the suspect, tips came in from the public, including one person claiming to have spotted the suspect in another store at the Dawsonville Outlet Mall earlier in the week, Deputy Rainwater said.

On Thursday, detectives responded to Mr. Wilson home. The suspect fled the residence, but was captured after a brief foot chase, Deputy Rainwater said.

In addition to the Peeping Tom charges, Mr. Wilson has been charged with parole violation, he said.

“Wilson did have a prior Peeping Tom charge,” Deputy Rainwater said.
