The legendary band have been teasing fans over the past couple of months with vague updates about a new tour and album coming in 2013. They have finally stopped toying with our emotions and have released more information about their new album. Their thirteenth studio album entitled “Delta Machine” is going to drop March 26. A video for their first single from the new record “Heaven” will be released February 1, along with a physical release a week later.
In a press statement for the record, Martin Gore said: "Writing this album was incredibly daunting as I wanted the sound of this collection to be very modern. I want people to feel good about listening to this record, to get some kind of peace. It's just got something magical about it."
A deluxe edition will also be available to purchase. The band are currently preparing for their May shows in London's O2 Arena. They stated that plans regarding a North American tour would be revealed later in the year. For more information about the album and their London shows, check out Depeche Mode's website.
