Electro rock pioneers Depeche Mode are being interviewed and performing live at the South by Southwest Music Festival on March 15. DM are playing at Brazos Hall at 8 p.m. on Friday. The concert will give fans an exclusive preview of the band’s new album, 'Delta Machine', which is being released on Columbia Records March 26th. The bands scheduled to perform with DM are Feathers, The Neighbourhood, Depeche Mode and Eric Prydz.

The only way to get in is to purchase a music badge from SXSW for $795 and then enter a lottery. The badge does grant admission to hundreds of shows during that week, including a lottery for Sound City Players, Green Day and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. A limited number of SXSW wristbands may also be eligible for tickets through a separate process, which will be announced closer to the dates of the shows. Individual tickets will not be sold at the door. More information can be found on the SXSW website.

The SXSW badge could get you into a discussion with the band, hosted by KCRW Music Director Jason Bentley. This interview with Depeche Mode will be held on Wednesday, March 13th at 5 p.m. at the Austin Convention Center.
