This time last year, NFL safety Deon Grant was preparing for the Super Bowl.
Grant went on to win a Super Bowl ring as the New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots.
This season, Grant did not play in the National Football League.
Why didn’t he play? Will he play again? How did he handle the hype and the magnitude of the Super Bowl? What does he think about this year’s Super Bowl? Are the New England Patriots arrogant? What does he think about his college program Tennessee and the former Vols in the league?
Josh Ward and I caught-up with NFL free agent Deon Grant on the “Sports 180” radio talk show on WNML in Knoxville on Monday when I filled-in for Will West.
