The horror. The carnage. The 2009 Denver Zombie Crawl.

Yesterday's event on the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver was packed with colorful characters and of course, hordes of the undead. According to Zombie Crawl organizers Daniel Newman and Christy Kruzick, this was the most successful year ever, with an estimated 3,000 zombies.

But enough talk. As we all know, a picture is worth a thousand screams...
