Tuesday, October 22: Turn your Tuesday evening into a mini-retreat by attending Karyn Karlson’s 1-3/4 hour All Levels Yoga class at Whole Yoga. Stay for an hour of meditation at no extra charge, or just come for the meditation for $5.
Wednesday, October 23: Want a personalized assessment of how Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, can help you? Helgrid Randolph offers Ayurveda consultations at Prana Yoga and Ayurveda Mandala on the fourth Wednesday morning of each month.
Thursday, October 24: ONE Yoga presents Mythology for tonight’s Thursday Night Lecture Series. Sherif Sakr and Colleen Broderick share the stories around the asanas.
Friday, October 25: Celebrate with ONE Yoga on their first anniversary. Tonight’s party begins with a live music all-levels class, with donations benefitting Vista Peak Public School. Saturday, October 26: Spend the day at Vital Yoga in the Highlands neighborhood “Experiencing Yoga” with yoga practitioner and Sanskrit Scholar Christopher Tompkins. This is Tompkins highly acclaimed introductory course to the Yoga Sutras by Patanjali.
Physical Therapist Keri Bergeron presents a two day workshop at Root Yoga Center on The Anatomy of Yoga, beginning this afternoon. For you Acro Yoga practitioners, April Boys and Amanda Russcol offer an afternoon Intermediate Partner Acro Yoga Workshop at The Yoga Mat. For those of you southwest of the city, check out Littleton Yoga Center’s Core Wisdom Workshop Series Introduction. This is an exploration of the human energy field and how to work with that energy using Qigong and Tai Chi.
Want to learn how to relieve headaches? Try Craig Kurtz’s workshop this afternoon at the Iyengar Yoga Center of Denver. The Iyengar Center offers a Celebration of Life Chakra Series in the evening. This event features both a Deeksha Oneness Blessing and a1-1/2 hour gong bath with Richard Rudis. There’s another chance for a gong bath this evening at Kosha Yoga Center in Littleton. Ann Martin presents this gong and singing bowl concert with a focus on “Unmasking Your True Self.”
Sunday, October 27: This is the last Sunday to dive into Surya Namaskar with Chris Muchow at Practice Yoga + Reiki School. Find the spaciousness and freedom of the series in this morning’s Sun Salutation exploration.
