Monday, May 26: Enjoy the free yoga class on Im’Unique United’s Illustrating Yoga Tour, the last one at Civic Center Park. Arrive by 5:30 to register and get your mat space. Or check out the outdoor Kundalini Yoga class this and every Monday night at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
Tuesday, May 27: The Denver Botanic Gardens offers Sunrise Vinyasa Yoga with Blake Burger on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Don’t forget to bring a towel and water along with your mat, especially as the temperatures climb outside.
Go indoors and practice yoga amidst the panoramas at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Im’Unique brings you this free class, the last night on this tour stop at the museum. Arrive by 6:00 p.m. to register and get your mat space.
Wednesday, May 28: Join the supervised play of the AcroYoga Jam at Awaken Gymnastics Inspired Fitness in the Santa Fe Arts District, every Wednesday night. There’s also an AcroYoga Flight Club Jam every Friday night, for those ready to take it to the next level.
Thursday, May 29: Insight Meditation Community of Colorado affiliated teacher Barry Gillespie offers Insight Meditation and Sangha tonight at Asana Studio in Olde Town Arvada. Explore the importance of forgiveness at tonight’s event.
Friday, May 30: The Colorado Ayurvedic Medical Association presents a weekend with Vasant Lad. Join Vasant tonight at the Broomfield Community Center for a public lecture, Detoxifying with Ayurveda: Improving Human Health. He provides a workshop tomorrow morning and a Kirtan tomorrow night, both at Boulder’s Solstice Center.
Saturday, May 31: Kosha Yoga Studio presents Yoga in the Park most Saturday mornings through August at Geneva Park in Littleton. A $10 donation is suggested to attend.
Sign up for The Secret of the Yoga Sutra at the Sherman Street Event Center. The event begins with a Tantra Vinyasa class led by ParaYoga® Founder and best selling author Rod Stryker. In the afternoon, Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, PhD lectures about The Secret of the Yoga Sutra. Pandit Tigunait was initiated into the lineage of the Himalayan Tradition by Swami Rama and is the spiritual head of the Himalayan Institute. He’ll lecture as well at Inner Connections Yoga in Castle Rock on May 30, and at the Yoga Workshop in Boulder on June 4.
