Thursday, June 12: Boulder’s Hanuman Festival offers pre-festival immersions today from Saul David Raye and Maty Ezraty, as well as a 90 Monkeys Professional Gathering for Yoga Teachers. The festival kicks off this evening with an opening ceremony that includes Kirtan with Saul David Ray along with Govind Das and Radha.
Friday, June 13: The Hanuman Festival officially begins! Sign up for yoga classes with national and local favorites Richard Freeman, Amy Ippoliti, Kathryn Budig, Kino MacGregor and many more. Check out the free events in the festival’s vendor village, including a Corepower Yoga Community Class and Kirtan with local favorite Steph Schwartz in the morning. Enjoy an inspirational talk followed by an acoustic set from Jim Beckwith, as well as a DJ set, in the afternoon.
The Hanuman Festival presents Xavier Rudd at the Boulder Theater tonight. Karma Yoga Center offers a Sound Healing: Mantra Meditation and the Gong Event with Dev Darshan. Or learn Go-Downs, Up-Rock, Freezes and more at Urban Flow, a yoga and breakdance workshop at Samadhi Center for Yoga & Meditation. Warm-up with yoga and then learn breakdance basics under the guidance of yoga and dance instructor Jordan New. Open to all levels.
Saturday, June 14: The Hanuman Festival continues with more great classes today. Join the free community class this morning with Cheryl Deer and Jeremy Wolf, followed by a free Kirtan. Check out the free inspiration talk in the afternoon, or Tommy Rosen’s Recovery 2.0, along with a free live acoustic set from Radha.
Enjoy yoga in Littleton’s Geneva Park this and every Saturday morning through August with teachers from Kosha Yoga Center. The Kids Yoga Guide offers yoga for the little ones, ages 4 – 10. A $10 donation per participant is suggested.
