We’re winding down from the largest Denver Yoga Rocks the Park event yet and gearing up for the Hanuman Festival in Boulder next week and yet it’s still a packed and amazing week of Denver yoga!

Monday, June 2: Enjoy a great vegetarian or vegan meal at Watercourse between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. today and they’ll donate a portion of the profits to support the Im’Unique yoga community and mission.

Learn the bow spring at the Sridaiva 5-day Student Intensive at Vital Yoga Highlands. This immersion with Desi Springer and John Friend begins this afternoon.

Tuesday, June 3: The first session of the One Child, One Planet Kids Summer Yoga Camp with Laura F. begins this afternoon at Littleton Yoga Center and continues through Thursday. The camp includes yoga, meditation, games, stories, conscious crafts, and more for children ages 4 – 11.

Wednesday, June 4: Join the AcroYoga Jam at Awaken Gymnastic Inspired Fitness this and every Wednesday night for only $5. Or enjoy outdoor yoga at the beautiful Denver Botanic Gardens every Wednesday evening with Blake Burger. Members and non-members of all levels are welcome.

Thursday, June 5: Beginning this morning, Lisa Eller Davis presents a 5-week Chair Yoga Series at Harmony Yoga. Join her for a weekly one hour class that includes gentle standing and lying down poses in addition to seated poses in the chair.

Friday, June 6: Want to Advance Your Practice Intelligently? Internationally renown Yoga Teacher Christina Sell presents two days of workshops at Kindness Yoga Hilltop. Her weekend seminar is designed for experienced practitioners to safely and systematically advance their practices. While you do not have to be an advanced practitioner to attend, you should not be recovering from an injury or illness. Join her this evening for Standing Poses and Arm Balances.

Internationally known throat singer and healer Matthew Kocel offers a Healing Sound Journey Concert at Samadhi Center for Yoga & Meditation. Or join Pamela Ewald at Kundalini Yoga Denver in the Highlands neighborhood for her 1st Friday Gong & Meditation Session.

Saturday, June 7: Start your morning with a yoga class in Littleton’s Geneva Park, led by teachers from Kosha Yoga Center. Kids Yoga Guide provides yoga for kids ages 4 – 10 during the event. $10 suggested donation per participant.

In this time of transition from the Piscean to the Aquarian Age, join Crestone Healing Arts Center co-directors Dan & Sue Beck Retuta for their workshop, Keeping an Open Heart During Times of Transition, this morning at Kundalini Yoga Denver. Experience kriyas and meditations for the transition, as well as a mini-lecture on the esoteric significance of the heart. Open to all levels.

The Christina Sell workshops to Advance Your Practice Intelligently continue today at Kindness Yoga Hilltop. She offers a Backbends session this morning and a Forward Folds and Twists workshop this afternoon.

Boost your mood and eliminate your negative self-talk at Caren Baginski’s You Again Yoga Workshop this afternoon at The Freyja Project. The workshop includes a handout of the yoga sequence and an audio file of the meditation so you can continue the practice after the workshop.

Ordained Buddhist nun and Dharma teacher Sister Jewel presents The Art of Happiness, The Art of Suffering: Coming Home to Ourselves at Samadhi Center for Yoga & Meditation. Join her for this two-part workshop tonight and on June 21.

All students who complete both sessions will receive Reiki Level I Certification.
