Denver yoga sizzles during this Summer Solstice week!

Monday, June 16: Check out Mudra Yoga Studio’s classes for free through Saturday. This offer is open to new and returning students with no restrictions or limitations.

Kids Yoga Directory begins Camp Gratitude at Harmony Yoga this morning. This all day camp for kids ages 5 - 12 includes yoga, meditation, theatrical games, singing, dancing, music, stories and more. Or take your kids to Yogaventure Kids Yoga Camp with Leanna Long every afternoon this week at The Freyja Project.

Wednesday, June 18: The stress of caregiving can take its toll as anger, depression, guilt and more. Learn to care for yourself with yoga and group psychotherapy at Karin Bustamante’s Care for the Caregiver series, offered at lunchtime on Wednesdays through July at Kosha Yoga Center.

Thursday, June 19: The Yoga Mat presents a Yoga + Wine Event at the Infinite Monkey Winery this and every third Thursday evening of the month. Enjoy an hour long yoga class and a post-yoga glass of wine for your ticket price. Don’t forget to bring your yoga mat.

Learn about karma and reincarnation at the Insight Meditation and Sangha with Barry Gillespie tonight at Asana Studio in Olde Town Arvada. Or learn how to use the law of attraction at Littleton Yoga Center’s Attracting Abundance workshop.

Friday, June 20: Celebrate Karma Yoga Center’s fourth anniversary with food, music, give-aways and free yoga classes at Wash Park at noon, 4:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Chant with Tom Fuhrmann and friends at the Maha Kirtan tonight at Mile Hi Church. Bring your own back jack or cushion, and arrive by 6:30 for the Oneness Blessings. Or check out the Summer Solstice Gong and Bowl Concert with Ann Martin at Kosha Yoga Center.

Bring a partner or friend and enjoy an introduction to Partner Thai Yoga Masage and a glass of wine tonight at Qi Flow Fusion’s downtown location. Be sure to wear comfortable, loose clothing for ease of movement.

Saturday, June 21: Im’Unique United presents the second annual Fitness Fest at Mile High Sports Authority Field. The Fitness Fest includes the largest free yoga class in Colorado. No mats are allowed on the field so bring a white towel or practice directly on the grass. Im’Unique will honor 100 Denver-Metro Area yoga, fitness and wellness instructors during this event for their dedication to the health and wellness of Denver communities. Stay after the yoga class for more free fitness activities, healthy cooking classes and more at the Wellness Lounge.

Kosha Yoga Center presents Yoga in the Park this and every Saturday morning through August at Littleton’s Geneva Park. Kids Yoga Guide provides yoga for the little ones ages 4 – 10 during the class. All levels are welcome and a $10 donation is suggested for participants.

Tom Fuhrmann and friends present another Kirtan tonight, this one at Littleton Yoga Center. No experience is necessary to join in the chanting.

Light Up the Night with Christen Bakken, Lindsay Gonzalez and Kyle Weiger at The River. Join them for a 90-minute power vinyasa flow class to celebrate the upcoming Wanderlust Festival. Or wear your white or neon clothing to move through 108 sun salutes in blacklight at Yoga in the Dark with Jackie Salzillo at Asana Studio in Golden. Glow sticks are provided at both classes.

Sunday, June 22: Yoga Rocks the Park presents a yoga class with Laura Wade Jaster and Sarah Russell accompanied by live music from DJ Sundragon this morning at Sunken Gardens. Camp YRP offers yoga for kids ages 3 – 10 during the event.

There’s a variety of yoga workshops from which to choose this afternoon. Join Heidi Michelle for some mirrored vinyasa flow and Acro Yoga at her Partner Yoga Play workshop at Kindness Yoga Hilltop. This Denver Yoga Examiner presents Deep Stretch: An Introduction to Yin Yoga at Mudra Yoga Studio. Learn Thai Yoga Self Massage at David Wells workshop at Whole Yoga. Licensed Acupuncturist Naomi Campbell offers Chinese Medicine Herbal First-Aid at The Freyja Project. The River presents SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) Yoga with Lindsay Gonzalez this and two more weekend afternoons at Chatfield Reservoir. Or treat your back to an afternoon of therapeutic yoga at Sarah Wolfgram’s Yoga for a Healthy Back workshop at Endorphin in the City Park neighborhood.
