The Iyengar Yoga Center of Denver offers a free yoga class for people in all phases of cancer treatment every Wednesday afternoon. Craig Kurtz leads this restorative class for which no yoga experience is necessary.

Thursday, January 30: Aditi Devi Ma began practicing the South Asian Tantric traditions almost 25 years ago and has practiced in India, Nepal and Tibet. Spend your lunch break meditating with this Tantric scholar at Mudra Yoga Studio. This donation-based class includes the basics of meditation and breathwork.

Friday, January 31: Root Yoga Center hosts Friday Night Yoga Club this week, with Cheryl Deer and Angela Arnold leading the yoga practice. Saturday, February 1: Dru Wllborn offers Kundalini sets and meditations for Self Love this morning at Kundalini Yoga Denver in the Highlands.

What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than in a yoga workshop? Jonathan Dickstein leads an Inversion Immersion at the Iyengar Yoga Center of Denver, with a primary focus on shoulderstand and headstand. Makaan Burt brings the contemporary history of yoga into asana practice with his workshop on the T. Krishnamacharaya Story at Asana Studio in Olde Town Arvada. Or join Jenny Domingue and Susanne Hoogwater for Relax into your Vision at Littleton Yoga Center. You’ll be guided through a gentle yoga practice and relaxation exercises to prepare your mind and body for connecting with your inner vision, after which you’ll create a personal vision map.

Make Your Own Mala this evening at Karma Yoga Center, under the guidance of Tibet Import’s Sarita Shrestha. Sarita provides the beads and the instruction, along with the meaning of the stones and a Vedic Astrology reading.

Sunday, February 2: The River’s Katy Rowe teaches this morning’s yoga class at R.Y.B.L: Run, Yoga, Breathe, Laugh. The River provides the free Sunday morning yoga classes all month at these Lululemon events in Cherry Creek.
