Thursday, January 24: Got kids between the ages of six and twelve? Yama Yoga Village kicks off a four-week Kids Yoga Series at 4:30 p.m. today. Parents who choose to stay while the class is in session can take a vinyasa class at the same time and at a discounted rate.
Friday, January 26: If you’re not already attending Harmony Yoga’s Rejuvenation Hot Springs Retreat this weekend, try Samadhi Center for Yoga’s Thai Yoga Massage workshop. Sometimes called “the lazy man’s yoga,” Thai Yoga Massage “combines meditative breathing, deep stretching and acupressure massage to promote full-body relaxation and restoration." Ready to take your yoga “Off the Mat, Into the World?” The owners of Mudra Yoga Studio are presenting a seven-week “Off the Mat, Into the World” workshop, and will “guide you through an intensive transformational process using vinyasa yoga and other tools to uncover your deepest passion and motivation.” Wanting to chill this evening? Try the sound healing concert at Root Yoga Center, complete with singing bowls, chimes and Nepalese temple gong.
