Monday, August 4: Yoga Calm Summer Yoga Camp with Kim Oliva and Ilga Paul begins this afternoon at Kosha Yoga Center. This four day camp is open to all children ages 7 – 12, and is designed to provide a practice and routine for children with attention and social challenges.
Tuesday, August 5: Start your day with Sunrise Vinyasa Yoga at the Denver Botanic Gardens every Tuesday and Thursday morning. Join Horticulturalist and Yoga Teacher Blake Burger for this class, and don’t forget to bring your mat, a towel and water.
Littleton Yoga Center offers an ocean creature themed Kids Summer Yoga Camp with Laura F this week. The camp includes yoga, games, stories and conscious crafts for children ages 4 – 11.
Thursday, August 7: Join longtime meditation practitioner and teacher Barry Gillespie at Asana Studio in Olde Town Arvada for a dharma talk on the Eightfold Path.
The Yoga Mat presents another Yoga + Wine Event at Infinite Monkey Winery this evening. Bring your own mat for the hour long yoga class, and stay after for the glass of wine that’s included in your ticket price.
Friday, August 8: The Arise Festival at Sunrise Ranch in Loveland begins this morning and runs through Sunday night. While the festival’s focus is “uplifting the world through music,” there’s plenty of yoga to enjoy. Today’s lineup includes four yoga classes for the adults as well as Circus Yoga for the kids. There’s also Qigong, Authentic Movement, and lots of Ecstatic Dance. Camp out for all three days, or purchase a day pass. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by a responsible guardian.
The Littleton Yoga Center presents a Yoga Nidra Workshop with Carin tonight. Deeply relax, and even tap into higher states of consciousness with this “yogic sleep” process.
Saturday, August 9: The Arise Festival continues with more yoga today. Enjoy yoga classes from Boulder favorites Steph Schwartz and Jeanie Manchester, Laughter Yoga and much more. There’s even Super Hero Yoga for the little ones.

Relax deeply with the support of bolsters and blankets at the Anjali Restorative Yoga workshop this afternoon at Littleton Yoga Center. Or join Massage Therapist and Yoga Teacher Nikki Sutton for a Beginners Workshop this afternoon and monthly through May at Asana Studio. The series covers the yoga basics including postures and breathwork as well as yoga philosophy.
