The yoga winds up as the summer winds down. Enjoy these last weeks of outdoor yoga, as well as great indoor yoga events, as we move into the school year and into autumn.
Tuesday, August 20: Im'Unique's Illustrating Yoga Tour stops for a last time this year at Founder’s Green in Stapleton. This class is free, so be sure to arrive early this evening to register and get a good lawn space.
Thursday, August 22: Treat yourself to a vinyasa class and glass of wine at the Urban Wine + Yoga Class tonight at the Infinite Monkey Theorem Urban Winery. Don’t forget to bring your yoga mat.
Ally Baker continues her Soulful Breathwork group sessions tonight at Kindness Yoga’s Hilltop location. Connect to your breath to release obstacles to your expansive and authentic life. Be sure to dress comfortably and bring a low pillow and thin blanket.
Friday, August 23: Root Yoga Center offers their last Yoga on the River for the season tonight in Commons Park West. Enjoy yoga with Amy Baker and Keri Bergeron with tunes spun by DJ Japadapta. An informal social gathering at a local restaurant commences after the class.
Saturday, August 24: Gather your family at Founder’s Green at Stapleton this morning for Family Yoga on the Green. Young Warriors teacher Julia McGarey provides the all-ages yoga class. This event includes a Music Together demo and a silent auction, with all of the event proceeds going to Off the Mat, Into the World.

There are lots of great yoga teacher training programs in Denver Metro area, with many beginning this fall. There are few Jyotisha/Vedic Astrology programs, however. Foundations of Jyotisha, a 150-hour intensive, begins today at Prana Yoga and Ayurveda Mandala, a Colorado Department of Higher Education approved and regulated school.
