Monday, April 28: Check out the free yoga class from Im’Unique United this evening at Civic Center Park. Be sure to arrive by 5:30 to get signed in and get your mat space. Or begin a 4-week Seasonal Cleansing Gentle Detox Program with Nutrition Lifestyle Coach Susan Kimball tonight at Harmony Yoga. The program includes a nutrition plan and either one month of unlimited yoga or one free 2014 workshop.

Tuesday, April 29: There’s more free yoga from Im’Unique United, with a class this evening at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Arrive by 6:00 for this one.

Wednesday, April 30: Harmony Yoga offers a lunchtime Gyrokinesis® Movement Series with Georginne Bakalis. This circular movement system combines yoga with dance, gymnastics, tai chi, dance and swimming. Work on strength and balance in this 4-week series, focusing this week on the core, feet and hands.

Thursday, May 1: Do you have mobility restrictions? A 5-week Chair Yoga Series with Lisa Eller Davis begins this morning at Harmony Yoga.

Longtime meditation practitioner and teacher Barry Gillespie presents the last session of The Ten Parmis—A Map to Enlightenment at Asana Studio. Join this gathering for a dharma talk and discussion, along with time to meditate, on loving kindness and equanimity. All experience levels are welcome.

Friday, May 2: Senses of the Soul (SOS) author GuruMeher presents a weekend of workshops in the Denver area. Join him at Kundalini Yoga Denver for SOS: How to Turn Emotion into Devotion. GuruMeher presents additional workshops tomorrow in Boulder and Sunday in Parker, and you’ll get a discount if you sign up for all three.

Sunday, May 4: The 9Health Fair includes free yoga in addition to the wide range of free and low cost health screenings this morning at the Colorado Convention Center. Check out the 9Health Fair — Yoga Open to participate in one of the dozens of beginner, all-level and specialty yoga and wellness classes. The Yoga Open features teachers from many Denver yoga studios and health clubs along with Denver Parks and Recreation.
