This week’s Denver yoga offerings are a great fit for this equinox week, a time for our new growth.
Tuesday, March 19: Kindness Yoga offers Master Breathwork facilitator Christian De La Huerta’s “Soulful Breathwork” workshop tonight at their new Hilltop location. De La Huerta presents this same workshop again tomorrow evening, at the same location.
Wednesday, March 20: What better time than the Equinox to begin a cleanse? Instruction begins this evening at Vital Yoga for their Ayuvedic cleanse, complete with cooking classes and menus, and continues the next two Wednesdays.
Thursday, March 21: Check out the Thursday Night Lecture Series at One Yoga in the Denver Tech Center. Tonya Zwaanstra talks about the Chakras in this second week offering.
Friday, March 22: Do you like live music with your yoga? Friday Night Yoga Club presents Vital Yoga owners Desi and Micah Springer at their Highlands location with Lil Sum'n Sum'n providing the musical accompaniment. Root Yoga wraps up their “Celebrate Your Practice Week” with an Equinox Celebration. Kat Saks provides the yoga instruction with music by Jon Nedza.

Kindness Yoga offers a “Living Life with Intention Weekend” at their Hilltop location. Lead by yoga teacher Ken Santistevan along with Master Coach and Strategist Tom Hart, this empowering workshop is designed to help you create the life you want. Additionally, the Iyengar Yoga Center of Denver offers a weekend of “Stillness, Silence, Openness” with Debra Ann Robinson-Menzies beginning tonight. The sessions in this workshop build upon one another to take you deeper into breathwork, meditation and an inward-turning asana practice.
For something completely different, Hansa Knox and Michael Brunk introduce you to light therapy at Prana Yoga and Ayurveda Mandala, with complimentary light sessions available throughout the evening.
Saturday, March 23: Spend your afternoon learning partner yoga and Thai Massage at Vital Yoga’s Golden Studio or join Diane Sieg for “Your Mindful Year” at Sacred I Yoga. Sieg’s workshop is based on her book “30 Days to Grace: A Daily Practice to Achieve Your Ulitimate Goals.”
Vital Yoga offers the second of their week-long urban retreats, today through March 29. This immersion includes yoga, meditation, ayurveda, pranayama and more. If you miss it this go-round, the immersion will be offered again in both April and May.
Relax this evening at Chris Anne and Jason Coviello’s “Spring Equinox Sound Healing Concert” at Harmony Yoga.
Sunday, March 24: Denver/Boulder favorite Patrick Montgomery kicks off his six week Beginner Series at Kindness Yoga in Capitol Hill this afternoon. Participants must pre-register for the entire series.
Root Yoga offers the first of a three part inversion workshop with Angie Arnold this afternoon that continues in April.
