Jack Jensen operated a one-room storefront called Mutiny Now specializing in used vinyl and record players before assuming the space on the southeast corner of Broadway and Ellsworth and opening a hybrid used bookstore and art gallery by the same name in that location. Primarily a used book store “specializing in Art Books,The Beats, and other cool junk," Mutiny Now is also an art gallery, featuring Jack's original Pop Art Oils, his way of documenting passing history. What he paints is  "exactly what I see before my eyes," easily recognizable and immediately digestible,  tending toward a sarcastic critique of societal sacred cows. Jack and Yvette Jensen's affinity with economic self-determination via Mutiny Now is rare and admirable in these money-mad times, to be commended and supported in every possible way as an instance of courage and foresight.  Check it out: Open Monday thru Sunday.
