Denver's St. Rose of Lima School is featured in a Notre Dame study

                      The face of tomorrow

Earlier this month, the Notre Dame Task Force on the Participation of Latino Children and Families in Catholic Schools released a report entitled, "To Nurture the Soul of a Nation: Latino Families, Catholic Schools, and Educational Opportunity" which advocates increasing opportunities for Latino children to attend parochial schools. Featured in the report is Southwest Denver's St. Rose of Lima School whose predominantly Latino graduates go on to graduate from high school at a 98% rate; more than double the Latino graduation rate from Denver Public Schools.

The report is now available on-line in PDF format or can be ordered from the University of Notre Dame. Its worth taking a look and putting on the table.
