Denver's Makeup Mania store

As a professional makeup artist, I get asked "Where do YOU shop for makeup?" all the time.  While the drugstores, department stores and everything in between have their place - they are nothing like Makeup Mania in Denver's Berkeley/Highlands neighborhood.  This little white house with a giant pink logo is filled from floor to ceiling with the best stuff out there.  LaFemme, Ben Nye, Gerda Spillmann and Graftobian are just the tip of the lipstick!  Never heard of these product lines?  Well, these companies don't run those million dollar ad campaigns with their highly paid actress/models as spokespeople.  And you reap the benefits of not having to PAY for all that fluff.  Makeup that is made with quality in mind, not "How is this color going to sell?"  Eva Marie Denst is the founder of Makeup Mania and her makeup artistry resume is as big as their inventory.  Courteous, non-pretentious and knowledgeable - she is one of the reasons why I love shopping there.  Makeup Mania has everything you need for the makeup novice while keeping the professionals well stocked with their favorites.  Skincare, makeup, supplies, glitter, special effects, vanity & kit organizers, bath & body care, brushes - you get the picture!  Go there and check it out yourself.  For those of you out of the area, please check out their website by clicking here or calling 1-800-711-7182.  Tell her Cynthia, the Denver Makeup Guru sent you!  Makeup Mania 4407 Lowell Blvd., Denver (just behind Billy's Bar!).  M-F 10am-6pm and Sat 12pm-5pm.

Hey, thanks for the tip! I have never heard of this place - and I see they have a large selection of Ben Nye (which is pretty much ALL I use in Theater.) Looks like they do a lot of work for theater and performing arts too. Thanks!
