Denver's Green Route Map

Green Spaces of Colorado announced a partnership with the global The Green Map® System to launch the Denver Green Route. The Denver Green Route is a green map highlighting the sustainable economy here in Denver. The Green Map® System has mapped over 600 communities world wide and is dedicated to showcasing sustainable, green and healthy lifestyle options within the local community.

On February 18, 2010, from 6:30 to 8:30, Green Spaces Colorado will host a reception, at 1368 26th Street, Denver, to celebrate the launch of this community awareness project. This reception will be open to the public and will feature key note speakers, music, hors devours and refreshments courtesy of Verso Cellars and Upslope Brewing Company. There will be a video presentation highlighting the Green Route participants.

The Denver Green Map continues Green Spaces Colorado's commitment to nurturing the area's sustainable economy. This will prove a valuable resource for information and locations of a wide variety of goods, services, recreational, educational, workplace and lifestyle related choices for our fast changing community. Eco-conscious businesses from restaurants and grocery stores to auto repair and household goods, from graphic designers to landscape companies and recreational opportunities to alternative transportation will be highlighted on the Denver Green Map.
