Look out American Idol, move over The Voice. These shows have gone down hill with their new so called judges. This year the talent is in Denver and it is coming on strong. Listening to her sing, a comment was made at the next table, "Her voice is moving and it is one of the best I have heard". She has written her own music and for Christmas she even wrote a song a day and each one had a great story to tell. The voice belongs to Denver's own Katey Laurel.
Katey Laurel is a singer, songwriter and an artists who is making her mark in the music industry. When she is not writing songs, Katey enjoys being in front of the easel and creates some of the most beautiful drawings and paintings that are award winning in many ways.
Katey Laurel performed at The Walnut Room in Denver on Saturday February 9, 2013 and she provided the audience with a few of her new pieces that will be forthcoming on her new album. Katey is making her mark on music and is climbing the local charts that is making her more in demand for not only local but across the US. (She will be performing later this month in California).
