Denver fans revel in the ‘Game of Thrones’ sneak peak premiere at the Paramount

The Paramount Theatre was the hot spot in Denver tonight, Mar 27, 2014. Lucky attendees of tonight’s sneak peek premiere of the Season Four opener of HBO’s brilliant series Game of Thrones were treated to an evening they will never forget. HBO spared no expense in turning this premiere in to an experience that rivaled a LA premiere with the energy, hype, and attention to detail. Anxious fans lined up hours before the doors opened with costumes and plenty of stories to share. There was never a dull moment with the master of ceremonies presenting an entertaining costume contest, complete with cool prizes, and getting the entire audience involved with a video that will sure to end up on YouTube. By far one of the most popular activities was getting the chance to be professionally photographed in an actual Iron Throne. Of course when the lights dimmed the long awaited premiere of season four had everyone cheering for their favorite characters, while soaking up the comedic moments as well as the drama set ups for the rest Season Four.

One of HBO’s most successful television series was created by showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss and based on an adaptation of the novels A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. Fire and Ice beer was actually served in commerative glasses which will no doubt end in up many of a collection. To no surprise of any fan, Game of Thrones has won multiple big awards such as a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Television Series – Drama, a Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation in Long Form, and a Peabody Award. Among the ensemble cast, a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor absolutely brilliant actor Peter Dinklage for his role as Tyrion Lannister. There was no surprise that the audience awarded one of the favorite characters of the show with a resounding applause. Game of Thrones officially premieres on Sunday, Apr 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
