Even when your children are four-legged and furry, love, kindness and compassion are three qualities of any mother! Celebrate Mother’s Day at the Dumb Friends League this weekend, Friday, May 9 through Sunday May 11, 2014, where anyone—male, female, young or old—can become a new pet mom to a homeless cat, dog or small pet in need of a loving new home.

DDFL are offering adoption specials on all pets—50% off dogs (1 year and older), and waived fees for cats (1 year and older) and small mammals. In addition new pet moms will be honored with flowers and chocolates in the shelters and an “I’m a new pet mom” sticker and card with every adoption.

The special event will be held at both Dumb Friends League locations—the Quebec Street shelter in Denver, located at 2080 S. Quebec Street, Denver, CO 80231 and the Buddy Center in Castle Rock, located at 4556 Castleton Court, Castle Rock, CO. Adoptions include spay or neuter surgery, microchip identification implant, vaccinations and a free office visit with a participating veterinarian.
