This Saturday & Sunday, Denver will be flooded with lesbians, gay's, bisexuals and transgenders alike to unite with family and friends to support all types of love equally for Pridefest 2014. Denver is home to numerous gay and lesbian couples and is proud to be one of the most accepting cities in the nation. Whether gay or straight, the weekend is expected to be one of the biggest events of the year. Pridefest has gained the reputation of hosting the most fabulous parade accompanied by exciting events all weekend. Countless people have made the move to Denver over the past year as the economy, cost of living and unbelievably rad scenery has people hooked.

Produced by the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center of Colorado, Denver PrideFest is the third largest pride festival and seventh largest pride parade in the United States. Denver PrideFest takes place in downtown Civic Center Park, featuring the CoorsLight, PrideFest Parade and The Smirnoff Danceworld. The festival hosts 325,000 guests annually and also features more than 250 vendor booths with arts, crafts, food and more. They provide a VIP area with food and drinks for sponsors and contributors to indulge in. There’s also a family area, youth alley, and a transgender resource area. There's literally something to do and explore for everyone, gay or straight in the dashing city of Denver.

Don't be alarmed when you witness gay couples holding hands and showing their affection with one another throughout Denver this weekend. Not only is the festival known for its extremely entertaining parade on Sunday, the entire weekend is devoted to the community as events, parties and various family activities attract people from all over the world. Pridefest offers a little something for everyone; entertainment, booze & food and great music.

Come out and support your fellow Americans as it's 2014 & surely you've engaged, met or have someone close to you in life that is a proud gay person. While at the end of the day the community is here to unite as one, it's known to be one hell of a party as well.

The weekend culminates with the biggest party at Tracks (Saturday night - June 21st) with Denver's favorite DJ Chris Cornell and other great names that will have you dancing the night away!

Cheers & happy Pride!

The Parade is Sunday, June 22nd @ 9:30 AM.
